Erkado has developed from a Polish family business into one of the most significant manufacturers in Europe. The company has nearly 50 years of experience in the design and production of wooden doors and various interior door solutions.
The company was founded as a family business in 1976 and builds on three generations of carpentry traditions. Their products include Erkado interior doors in classic and modern designs, with veneered, painted or laminated surfaces, as well as glass and special-function models.
The company carries out the entire production process in its own plants, which allows for continuous quality control and flexible adaptation to customer needs. The product range is constantly expanding, responding to interior design trends and technological developments.
The Erkado brand is now known worldwide, as the company exports to around 40 countries.

One of the keys to Erkado's success is innovation and continuous product development. The company comes up with new models, shapes, colors and surface solutions every year to keep up with the latest trends.
History and development
The story of Erkado began in the 1950s in Chwałowice, southeastern Poland. It was here that master carpenter Stanisław Kozłowski founded the small woodworking workshop that launched Erkado on its journey to conquer the world.
Initially, they produced wooden doors and windows for local needs. Then, with continuous technological developments, the company gradually specialized in door production.
In the 2000s, a new strategy and modern technologies were introduced, which standardized production and built a distribution network throughout the country.
Thanks to this, Erkado interior doors became increasingly well-known. In 2005, a new factory was opened in Gościeradów to meet the growing demand. From that time on, Erkado also began its international export activities (to Ukraine, the Czech Republic, Greece, Austria).
Following the 2010 rebranding (when the ERKADO brand name was born), production capacity was further increased in 2013 with the opening of a new 10,000 m² production hall and a training center. In 2016, a 4,000 m² warehouse and a new interior door production hall were opened. In 2018, a modern painting plant for the production of varnished wooden doors was completed, as well as a new central warehouse.
In 2020, the company purchased a 30,000 m² factory near Radom for the production of Erkado interior doors. In Gościeradów, it established a 10,000 m² plant for the production of steel entrance doors. As a result of these significant investments, by 2024 the total area of ERKADO plants will reach 155,000 m².
The company has retained its family character to this day: its founder, Zbigniew Kozłowski, personally oversees developments as President and CEO. While his son, Mateusz Kozłowski, continues the former ideas in the spirit of the present day as Managing Director. Erkado now employs more than 1,000 employees, and the company's annual turnover in 2024 was nearly PLN 670 million. This is due to continuous development and expansion.
Since 2011, Erkado has also been doing its part in social responsibility: it supports its own cycling team (Erkado Racing Team), thereby strengthening its brand values towards a wide audience.
Product range
Erkado's product range now includes not only wooden doors, but also solutions ranging from interior doors to steel entrance doors and related accessories. The range includes doors and windows for both residential and project (public) use, in various equipment and designs. The main products are:
A wide selection of doors designed for homes and office interiors, with a variety of structural solutions. Panel doors with laminated surfaces, framed doors (so-called stile) doors, glass doors, inlaid doors with decorative inserts are available. Also lacquered design doors and solid wood interior doors.
Solid wooden entrance doors, as well as steel entrance doors with excellent security features (including security doors), which have MABISZ recommendation. Exterior doors are made with outstanding heat and sound insulation, multi-point locking and, upon request, even in a fire-resistant design, meeting modern safety standards.
